GL Accountant | Enterprise Managed Services

Enterprise Managed Services (EMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.
We are looking for: GL Accountant - project environment
Your future role:

• Performing day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities, including journal entry postings and account reconciliations,
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes,
• Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations,
• Assisting with intercompany transactions and reconciliations,
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with established procedures and deadlines,
• Cooperating with other teams to resolve queries and discrepancies,
• Supporting the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and General Ledger processes
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a professional environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Professional working proficiency in English with proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.

Nice to have:

• Professional working proficiency in German with proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting
• ACCA or any other accounting certificate started.
